Shieldwise has a new way to detect hidden weapons before they become a threat.
Its AI-powered security system, called Defender One, is designed to spot concealed weapons under clothing or inside bags without requiring people to stop for metal detectors or physical searches. The goal is to make security screening faster and less disruptive at schools, airports, stadiums, hospitals, and other public places.
The company is targeting a $20 billion-plus global security market. Its first prototype is under development, with plans to launch Defender One in early 2027.
Shieldwise has filed a U.S. patent application and is targeting $12 million in revenue in 2027. Its business model includes recurring revenue from AI software subscriptions, security analytics, and updates.
